Launch of a Neighborhood Organization
When most people think of Autumn, they think of it as an End to the Season. A Time to prepare for the Winter, when all goes dormant. A Group of Individuals in the Greater Northeast Area, specifically Mayfair and its surrounding Neighborhoods; decided the time for a Harvesting of the People was appropriate. A Gathering of Northeast Residents, who were interested in "Making a Difference", broadcasting a Message, and becoming a Part of the Solution. People had become frustrated seeking help for their problems, and searching for whom to voice their Concerns. They decided to become Pro-Active. People were receptive about this New Movement, but there was a recurring Question.....
How can we Collectively Gather all of Our Ideas, Direct Our Efforts, and Achieve Results?
We needed a Vehicle, a Method of Collecting all of these Great Ideas and Sorting through them so we could present them to the necessary audiences. Political Candidates, running for Municipal Office in the City of Philadelphia, were the First Group of Influential People, to whom we would carry the Message. During the Month of October, we looked over the Candidates. We analyzed past performance, their alliances, voting records for incumbents, etc. We looked at their Campaign Goals on addressing the Issues which pertained to the Northeast.
In Early November, just before the November General Election; we formed "Mayfair ForWard", an Organization to help keep our neighborhoods as great places to raise our families.
